Our Vision:
"Photography doesn't just capture a moment...it creates a memory."
Memories are all we have to trace the lines of our past. And photography enhances our ability to recall what would otherwise be forgotten. That's why they say pictures are the first thing we'd take if we only had time to snatch our most treasured belongings.
We'd like to add to this idea, that the actual creating of the photography is part of the memory making. Imagine your family gathered together in celebration of a milestone event...an engagement, a wedding, a baby's new birth, a senior graduation, or an anniversary. Then imagine a storytelling portrait that displays the emotions and relationships that you share.
We at Mark's have been privileged to share in the memory-making experience with our clients for many years. Committed to growing in our craft, we strive to create beautiful images, a personal experience, and a lasting relationship.
We invite you to experience the difference a professional portrait can make; we guarantee that it will ensure a lasting impression, a memory...not to be forgotten.

Mark's Photographic Images has been in Armour for years... we all live here for the same reasons: we love all the family that's around and the laid back atmosphere of small communities. We also love photography, meeting new people and having fun.
Mark is an award winning professional who is committed to the art of portrait photography. He is recognized by his peers as a leader, recently completing his tenure on the regional Northern Light Association board, having served as president of the SD Professional Photographers of America, and receiving the PPA National Award for the state of SD.
In their free time Mark, and his wife, Margaret, are "friends to beginning photographers," love to golf, camp, road-bike, and hang out with their families. They also have a passion for travel, often visiting the full time missionaries that they support in needy places around the world, and sharing the message of God's unfailing love.
Our Hours and Location:
Mark's regular business hours are Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We are open by appointment on Saturdays & Mondays. Sundays, Mark's is closed so that staff can spend time with their families. If you need a later appointment time, just call. We strive to be accommodating.
Mark's is located directly north of the town limits of Armour on US Hwy 281.
Please note that we don't let our location limit our service. We travel to our clients and their special locations. Some of our favorite images are photographed at the Missouri river, on golf courses or in a client home. We also offer portrait "safari" sessions for seniors, think back alley or railroad track backgrounds...just ask! We like your ideas.
Our Promise:
Mark's offers our guarantee that you will be completely satisfied.
Not only is there a money back guarantee on your session if you are not completely satisfied but we also guarantee all final images against any manufacturing defects for the life of your wall portrait when delivered in our framing. Deposits on sessions will also be returned with timely cancellations. Each circumstance is unique and we are flexible and customer friendly with our policies.
